Every year the NMU Hockey program contacts local school music teachers to invite them to bring students to sing at a Wildcat Hockey Game. In conjunction with River Valley Bank, they provide free tickets to the students who sing in exchange for having them perform at the game.  MAPS music teacher, Jayme Bell stated "we practice the Star-Spangled Banner in class anyway, so this is a great chance for the students to get to use what they have learned.  The best part is being down in the hallway as the players come out of the locker room and giving high fives and fist bumps!"

Superior Hills students, directed by MAPS music teacher, Jayme Bell, performed the Star Spangled Banner at the NMU Wildcats game on January 21st.
