Marquette Area Public Schools would like to announce that a series of “Citizen Committee” meetings will be taking place to give the general public a chance to discuss in an open forum the current condition of the district’s buildings, and to further discuss the “wants & needs” required as they see the district moving into the future.
Integrated Designs, Inc. will be at each of these meetings to discuss their recent “Facility Analysis” report that documents the general current condition of each building in the district with regard to code issues, life/health/safety, and building maintenance issues. http://www.mapsnet.org/Portals/0/Central/Budget/IDI%20Facility%20Assessment%20Report%20(5%2019%2011).pdf
Information gathered from these meetings will help MAPS establish a scope of work for a possible bond referendum in November.
