Students at Marquette Alternative High School are raising money to support cancer treatment with an upcoming fundraiser. The students are looking for sponsors who will pledge to pay $1 for every MAHS student who wears a pink shirt all day on Wednesday, January 25. The money raised will be used to help local cancer patients who might otherwise not be able to pay for chemotherapy or other treatment needs.
Anyone who is interested in making a donation should make checks payable to MGH, with MAHS Fundraiser written on the memo line. Checks can be delivered to Graveraet School, 611 N. Front Street in Marquette, in person or by mail.
