Mr. H's Mission Statement:

I will defend and promote, at all times, the importance of the liberal arts in public education. My paramount purpose is to foster critical thinking through the study of literature and writing, to teach students new ways of expressing ideas, and to prepare students to lead examined lives that are personally satisfying, civically responsible, and socially useful.  I will teach in the spirit of my finest teachers.
