Outlook Web Access – Get your E-mail away from School -

 

  1. Go to Internet Explorer
  2. Type in this URL Web address: --  http://mail.mapsnet.org/
  3. Press Enter
  4. A login dialog box will appear
  5. Enter your User name and Password.
  6. MAPSNET is the Domain – this should already be placed in the Domain box
  7. Click OK

 

 

If you have Windows 95 – Windows ME the login box will look like this:

Your User Name and Password is the same as you use for your district computer login.

If you have Windows XP the login box will look like this.

Type in “Mapsnet\” with your user name since there is no separate Domain entry box…(Don’t forget the backslash \ )

 

Note: If you only type in your user name and password, the username box will include: mail.mapsnet.org\username. You can just delete the “mail.” and log in successfully.

 

Check the Remember my password box so you computer will automatically include this information the next time you access your mail.

 

 

 

 

 

Using the Address Book in Web Access

 

  1. Click “To” to the left of the address bar
  2. Type in the Display name – you only need a few letters
  3. Click Find
  4. Highlight the name listed in the addressing box below
  5. Click “To” / “Cc” / or “Bcc” – you will see the addresses appear on the address bar in the message box.
  6. Click Close when done addressing
