ASVAB - Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery - The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program is a cooperative effort between the Department of Defense (DoD) and the nation's schools. Approximately 13,000 schools participate in the program annually. Students participating in the program complete an aptitude test battery (ASVAB), an interest inventory, and a work values exercise. Through the use of these and other program materials, students learn about themselves and use this information to identify different career options.
PLAN Assessment ACT - PLAN® helps tenth graders build a solid foundation for future academic and career success and provides information needed to address school districts' high-priority issues. It is a comprehensive guidance resource that helps students measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school and post-graduation years.
