MAPS Busing Last Reminder

Dear MAPS Families:
As of today, Thursday, August 15th, all student requests for busing submitted via the Mapsnet.org website Google Form have been processed EXCEPT FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN OFFICIALLY ENTERED INTO SKYWARD, OUR STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM.
Secretaries return to their buildings Tuesday, August 20th. You may have enrolled (online or in person), however, due to Summer break, your paperwork MAY NOT yet have been processed. We will continue to route the students who have yet to be officially registered, but who have signed up for busing via the Google Form.
To view your student’s busing information, please check the HCTB mobile/web-based app or your Skyward Family Access account (see MAPS web site mapsnet.org under Parent Resources for more information). Both systems update nightly, so please continue to check for the most up to date information including bus stops, times and Bus numbers. Bus information is subject to change with the addition of more bus riders. PLEASE NOTE: SKYWARD FAMILY ACCESS MAY BE INACTIVE UNTIL SCHOOL STAFF RETURN.
Just a reminder that you must sign up your student(s) for busing if:
Your student is new to the District and needs busing
You have an incoming Kindergartner or Jr. Kindergartner who requires busing
Your student is currently assigned to ride the bus, however, has graduated up or moved to a new school – elementary to Bothwell or Bothwell to MSHS or MAHS. Our bus routing system drops students when they graduate up or move to another school even though your bus information may be the same.
To Sign Up for Busing, please complete the Transportation Request Google Form located on the mapsnet.org website under Parent Resources.
IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY SUBMITTED YOUR BUSING REQUEST VIA THE WEBSITE GOOGLE FORM, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANOTHER REQUEST.
BUSING ASSIGNMENT FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS NOT GUARANTEED FOR REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD.
