The purpose of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports Playbook is to provide MAPS staff and families with a clear, consistent guide for implementing MTSS. It outlines the district’s vision, procedures, roles, responsibilities, and resources necessary to implement MTSS with fidelity. While not exhaustive, it connects users to additional resources and reflects the district’s current practices and ongoing commitment to refining and strengthening its support systems.

The MTSS Playbook should be used as a practical, structured framework by all MAPS educators, leaders, families, and community members to ensure aligned practices and supports. It should be consistently referenced during staff meetings, PLCs, and grade-level meetings to guide student learning, family and community engagement, data-based decision making, and continuous system improvement.
